Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 1st July 2025

At MyTravon, travel arrangements are secured through third-party suppliers including airlines, hotels, villas, transportation providers, cruise operators, and activity vendors. Cancellation charges are therefore necessary to recover commitments made on behalf of travelers.

Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through an official communication channel designated by MyTravon.

The date on which the cancellation request is received shall be treated as the official cancellation date.

Flight Cancellation Policy

Flight bookings are governed by the fare rules of the respective airline.

  • Flight payments are collected in full at the time of booking.
  • Once airline tickets have been issued, any refund shall be subject to airline rules and approvals.
  • Airline cancellation penalties, amendment charges, fare differences, and administrative fees shall be deducted from any applicable refund.
  • Certain promotional and special fares may be completely non-refundable.

MyTravon acts solely as an intermediary and cannot override airline policies.

Land Package Cancellation Charges

Unless specifically mentioned otherwise in writing, the following cancellation charges shall apply to the land package component of the booking:

Where actual supplier cancellation charges exceed the above amounts, the higher amount shall apply.

Non-Refundable Services

The following services may be non-refundable once confirmed:

  • Airline tickets
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Attraction tickets
  • Event tickets
  • Cruise bookings
  • Ferry tickets
  • Permits and government fees
  • Peak-season bookings
  • Promotional offers
  • Special event reservations
  • Services specifically marked as non-refundable

Refund Processing

Where a refund is applicable:

  • Refunds shall only be processed after corresponding refunds are received from the respective suppliers.
  • Refund processing timelines may vary depending upon airlines, hotels, banks, payment gateways, and international suppliers.
  • Standard processing time may range from 15 to 45 business days or longer depending on supplier timelines.

Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges shall not be refunded:

  • Booking fees
  • Consultation fees
  • Service charges
  • Amendment fees
  • Payment gateway charges
  • Bank transaction charges
  • Currency conversion charges

Amendments and Rescheduling

Any request to change travel dates, accommodation, flights, passenger names, or itinerary components after confirmation shall be treated as an amendment request.

Additional charges may apply, including:

  • Supplier amendment fees
  • Fare differences
  • Rebooking charges
  • Revised package pricing

Approval of changes is subject to availability.

No Show Policy

No refunds shall be available for:

  • Failure to board a flight;
  • Failure to arrive at a hotel or villa;
  • Missed transfers;
  • Missed tours or activities;
  • Unused travel services;
  • Early departure from the trip.

Force Majeure

MyTravon shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, losses, or additional expenses arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Extreme weather conditions;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Political unrest;
  • Pandemics;
  • Airline operational disruptions;
  • Strikes;
  • Civil disturbances;
  • Acts of terrorism.

Any refund in such circumstances shall be limited to amounts actually recovered from suppliers.

Role of MyTravon

MyTravon acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and third-party suppliers.

Hotels, airlines, villas, transport providers, cruise operators, and activity vendors maintain their own cancellation, amendment, and refund policies, which may supersede the standard provisions outlined herein.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers agree to first contact MyTravon to resolve any concerns regarding refunds or payments.

Any chargeback initiated without prior written communication may result in suspension of future services and recovery of associated losses, administrative costs, and legal expenses where permitted by law.
